Product Review: Nike Tech Elite Cart Bag

August 2009

I have been using the Nike Tech Elite whenever I decide to push a cart instead of carrying and I am very pleased with both the weight and efficient design of this golf bag.

As you can see in the photo below, the Tech Elite sits comfortably on the Clicgear 2.0 and provides the “right” number of pockets without venturing into the ridiculous.

The weight for the Tech Elite is definitely acceptable at about 8 lbs.

There is a fourteen way divider for the clubs that runs top to bottom so there are no issues with tangled shafts, and the Tech Elite has six zippered pockets on the front and sides.

The front section has a pocket for balls, another insulated cooler pocket for ice/beverages and a third smaller pocket for tees/gloves/etc.

On each side there is a large pocket for jackets, raingear, etc. and one side has a padded valuables pouch.

There is a also a mesh pocket for a water bottle and the standard umbrella holder that sits within easy reach of the Clicgear console.

As you can see from the photo above, the combination of a Nike Tech Elite Cart Bag and a Clicgear 2.0 is a great set up for any walking golfer who likes to push a cart.

Towel, glove, water bottle, and clubs are all within easy reach, and the Tech Elite’s pockets are all very accessible from the front and side.

There are also grab handles on the bag that make it easy to transition from trunk to cart and back again after the round.

While the Tech Elite was probably designed for a motorized cart, its features, design and weight make it a great push cart bag as well.
