Hi Roger,

I don't think Tom checks in on the site too often. I believe rt1coyne@aol.com is his email address if you would like to get in touch.

I would recommend getting in touch with the Redanman - http://redanman.com/ - he is a doctor who knows feet and golf shoes.

Hi Tom,
I had lumbar spine laminectomy last fall (spinal stenosis/arthritic cysts removed) which had affected my right leg/knee. I am back to playing golf (cart only) but feel I'm ready to walk the courses I play again. One is a long links course with hills, deep traps etc.
Can you reccomend a comfortable, supportive walking golf shoe. Price is not an issue. any other suggesstions you have will be much appreciated.
Regards,
Roger Howell

I read Tom's book before my trip to Ireland and absolutely loved it. Met a couple from Wisconsin at Ballybunion who had also read it and we talked about it the whole round. A must read if you are going to Ireland to golf. I emailed him before I left and he was nice enough to email me back.
